AMIT SHAH DOES NOT DESERVE TO CONTINUE AS THE UNION HOME MINISTER

In his intervention on the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution in Rajya Sabha on 18 December 2024, Home Minister Amit Shah made extremely objectionable and derogatory comments about the architect of our Constitution, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. It is shameful that the Prime Minister has wholeheartedly stood by Amit Shah. This exposes the regressive Manuwadi outlook of the Home Minister and the BJP-RSS. The All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) strongly condemns the home minister and states that Amit Shah does not deserve to continue as the Union Home Minister.

These derogatory remarks have angered people all over the country. AIDWA will hold protests jointly with women’s organisations and other democratic, secular sections against these attempts to denigrate Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.
